Signal Saver is a small site that compares cheap cell phone plans from MVNOs. This page explains exactly what the site collects, why, and who else is involved. It describes what the site actually does today, in good faith. It is not legal advice.
The short version
The site collects three things: anonymous usage statistics, whatever you type into the contact form, and security logs that include IP addresses. There are no advertising trackers, no data brokers, and nothing is sold. Two cookies are set, both for analytics.
What is collected, and why
Analytics
Signal Saver uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which sections people read. This records things like the pages you view, roughly where in the world you are, your browser and device type, and how you arrived. It also records when someone clicks through to a carrier, so it is possible to tell whether the recommendations are useful.
Why: to understand whether the site is worth keeping up to date. Nobody is identified personally, and this data is not used to build a profile of you.
The contact form
If you send a message through the contact form, the site stores your first name, last name, email address, and the message itself. Alongside those, it also records your IP address, your browser user agent string, and which page you submitted from. That happens automatically as part of the submission.
Why: to read your message, reply to it, and have some ability to identify spam.
A copy of the notification email is also kept in the site’s mail log for 14 days, after which it is deleted automatically.
Security and server logs
The site runs Wordfence for security and sits behind the Sucuri firewall. Both record IP addresses. Wordfence keeps a record of login attempts, including failed ones, and of requests it judges suspicious or blocks. The web host keeps standard server access logs.
Why: to keep the site from being broken into or knocked offline. An IP address is the only practical way to do that.
Spam protection on the form
The contact form is protected by reCAPTCHA v3. Google collects hardware and software information from your browser and analyses it to tell humans from bots. This runs invisibly in the background whenever the contact page is open, without you clicking anything.
The Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply to that processing.
Affiliate links
Signal Saver has referral relationships with Visible, Mint Mobile, and US Mobile. If you sign up through one of the links on this site, Signal Saver may earn a commission. It never costs you more, and in most cases you get a signup credit yourself.
Clicks on those links are recorded as an analytics event, so it is possible to see which carriers people are interested in. The carriers themselves also set their own referral tracking once you land on their site, which is governed by their privacy policies and not this one.

Cookies
On a normal visit, this site sets exactly two cookies, both from Google Analytics:
_gaand_ga_X1DR141CHT, which distinguish one visitor from another so visits are not double counted. They are first party cookies, meaning they belong to signalsaver.com.
The site does not set advertising cookies and does not use a cookie consent banner. Google’s reCAPTCHA and font services may set their own cookies on Google’s domains when your browser contacts them, which is outside this site’s control.
Who else is involved
These companies process data on the site’s behalf. All of them are United States based or operate United States infrastructure, with the exception noted for Brevo.
- Google for Analytics and reCAPTCHA. Web fonts are served from this site’s own server, so your browser does not contact Google to fetch them.
- Brevo for sending email from the site, such as your contact form landing in the inbox. Brevo is a French company, so email content passes through infrastructure in the European Union.
- Sucuri for the firewall and content delivery that sits in front of the site.
- Cloudflare for DNS, and for storing encrypted backups of the site.
- GoDaddy for web hosting.
- WordPress.org serves the small emoji images used in the page text.
How long things are kept
Being straight about this, because some of it is longer than you might expect:
- Contact form submissions are kept for 24 months, then deleted automatically. That covers the message itself and the IP address and browser details stored alongside it.
- Email notification copies are deleted automatically after 14 days.
- Wordfence login records currently go back about a year. Records of blocked or suspicious requests are pruned by Wordfence and currently cover roughly the last three weeks.
- Analytics data is kept according to Google’s retention settings for the property.
If you want your message deleted sooner, just ask. See below.
Your choices
You can:
- Ask what has been stored about you.
- Ask for it to be corrected or deleted.
- Block cookies in your browser settings, or use a browser extension that blocks Google Analytics. The site works fine without them.
To make any of those requests, use the contact form and say what you are asking for. There is no email address published on this site, deliberately, because published addresses get harvested by spammers.
If you live in California
California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to ask for it to be deleted, and not to be discriminated against for asking. Signal Saver does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross context behavioural advertising. This is a small site that almost certainly falls well below the thresholds that make the CCPA and CPRA legally binding on a business, but the rights above are honoured regardless. Use the contact form to exercise them.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent a message through the contact form, get in touch and it will be deleted.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page and the effective date at the top will change. There is no mailing list, so this page is the place to check.
